Welcome to The Pillars Estate in historic Albion, New York. The Pillars Estate is a classic Victorian mansion.
The Pillars was lovingly restored to its original 1800's glory over an arduous, eight-year period. The mansion was restored one element at a time in Queen Anne décor, with authentic Victorian antiques in every room. Inspired by the epic grandeur of the film Gone with the Wind, the owners spared no expense to refurbish every aspect of the house, from the 12-foot ebony doors, to the authentic Victorian chandeliers that grace every ceiling, to the prominent authentic art in every room and hall.
They added a modern kitchen, fully equipped to easily serve a full-course meal or social gatherings. They added a huge outdoor patio, a full-sized treated pond, outdoor sound and lighting, and a multitude of elegant gardens. Lastly, they added a home theater, complete with wall-sized screen, crimson colored velvet curtains, leather recliners, an upraised platform, and a state-of-the-art sound system.
The Pillars Estate is part of The Haunted History Trail of NYS.
